Goodyear Eagle F1 195/45 on 15 inch rims. Shall say ta from my daughter for the compliment.

@Jace: no, right now nothing is broken in fact. I think she learned her lesson.

It's so mildly modded externally yet is my fave Smart.

                Mechanical mods so far are:

Bilstein shocks all round and Bilstein springs rear
                Roadster engine and turbo
Evil Twin Stealth twin exit exhaust
                Evil Twin Air intake
                Evil Twin Air filter
                Evil Twin Remap
Evil Twin Spacers on the rear to fill the Brabus arches
Towbar for towng our show trailer now painted in matching orange.

As a kid I loved orange Smarties... I think it programmed my brain as I still love orange 'Smart' ies and wept when 5th gear wrecked 2 of them... how dare they...

                  Re: Retro/classic modded smart cars

Unfortunately the changeable weather conspired against me getting pics of my Smart as it now stands - will try again next weekend...

A few photos from my collection (I've added photographer names for those not taken by me) ...

                    April 2001 -

Photos taken 2002/2003 but most with mods dating to 2001 -

A16 DNP - Dave and Patsy's smart was one of the first heavily modified smarts in the UK, Denis Williams had a smart with a similar level of mods but it was written off in Feb 2001 on the way to a smart meet at smart Birmingham

TINY J was in it's second phase by the time these photos were taken but thought I'd include them any way -

I've got more photos of early modded smarts but I need to scan them.

Early cars look great with the original Brabus front spoiler. The MS design one looked good too.

this looks like a toy in this picture. i think it's the fact you can barely see anything round it that does it. looks very cool!

Minty, nice pic of Oli's old fortwo - its a shame he doesnt lurk here too, he was one of the first people that influenced me modding my smart.
