  • Froglet Prescott Hillclimb

    Eventfull weekend!

Winter suspension mods took over 1 second off last years times but one of the engine mounts gave way and we were back home after practice on Saturday to manufacture a new one. Back to Prescott by 8.30pm and ready to race again on Sunday.

    Busy weekend

Did the suspension mods stop the wheelies off the start line?

Excellent stuff. I can tell that you might need a quicker clutch pedal? I found that in my car, the gear change is a bit awkward with the inner arch close to your foot. The gear ratio's on that box seem long? I know that engine revs to 8k easily, but it might pay you to try a higher diff ratio somehow? I bet you can pull nearly 40 in first!! Our MR2 roadster does and loves it!

        No!

The additional anti roll bar and other bits have improved the handling but the little tinker is still picking its front wheels up. Its become a bit of a trade mark and our 64ft times are better than some of the big boys.

        Great fun

Looked like the front wheels were off the ground coming out of the hairpin on the 2nd vid as well!!!

Glad you got it fixed in time....see ya Sunday! :goodlk:

I recon you could knock off about 15 secs from time at prescott...just cut across instead of doing that first loop!!!:silvertri
