Come on, you know me better than that! nose weight was 45k. ...but, the car was loaded with tv and stattelite system plus all our clothes, some food and some beer. It was however, not overloaded. Thats why I went to the weighbridge. Me and Lady Rudi, rebuilt this caravan from a wreck and we kept a very careful eye on the weights. At birth its ex factory weight was 620k. Our repairs added just over 10k to that weight, then battery, gas bottles and all other caravaning parafanalia took the weight to 740k. I kept the nose weight down by modifying the interior layout of the caravan, and carrying all weighty items such as gas bottles, caravan leveller, all above the caravan axle. The car was pretty low on its springs, but was still well within its load range. I do have some spring assisters that I mean to put on, but as you know, my health means that I have to work at a snails pace, and it took us eight months to get the caravan sorted!

Upper class camping? lol, well, I still prefer the tent, but it got to the stage where I couldnt get it up! (ooooerr mrs!) lol.. the tent I mean, and digging this hole even deeper.... Rudi had to do all the work. You have no idea how bad that made me feel, especially when I overheard some snotty cow saying to her smug git husband " look at that fat lazy barst*rd sitting around making her do everything"
Rudi still does most of the heavy work, but there is a lot more I can do camping this way.
