I finally was able to take the plunge and get SmartKarts runlines refurbed, replacing the steelies. UNfortunately the weather was a bit overcast for the last 2 days :rain:, so the lighting isn't the best.

I think Star Blue and matching wheels looks great:rock:, what you think?

    Nice - lovely looking car.

Where did you get them refurbed and how much?

Were they curbed (ie how much work did the refurb guys do)

      Re: New Look

      Thanks,

They were curbed, no dents or breaks, just on the two passenger side wheel. More like scratches or scuffs. So not too much work.

Had them done by http://www.wheelcraftuk.co.uk/ near Sleaford. I paid about £55+vat per wheel as I wasn't in a rush as I was currently running a set of steels and Toyos. It was a full tyre off refurb and new rear tyres (Falken 452s) fitted as well (additional cost, of course).

Looks very nice, did they manage to get a colour match to the panels?

I like the look in this colour....some other coloured wheels can look a bit 'odd'....but this seems to work very well!

Looks really nice! Generally I prefer the wheels and tridion colours to match, but the Runlines are awesome on the Roadster and look great with that combination.

            Re: New Look

That's not too bad! I have a full set of BRAB forfour alloys going spare and they need a full refurb so comparing diamond polish finish vs powder coating.

            Car looks lovely
