Some blasts from the past there!
Loved the green meanie. Remember seeing it at Smartbeat Newark if I remember correctly.smartbeatvoucher.jpg
    Bloody hot weekend that was!
Loved those Runline wheels. Best design Smart made in my eyes, just wish they had made them in different sizes.

Yes I remember Newark well, sunburnt and long fun day! First outing of the "Green Thing" after completing it.

I'm waiting for someone to fit 17" runlines to Fortwo 451.

Ah the good old days - its crazy to think that while all this awesome modding was going on, my car was still unborn!

Shame the modding has died down now

              - a couple of those Fortwos had the front access panels 'frenched' in ,i.e. the grilles had been flushed over.It looks quite interesting but does it cause any air circulation problems blocking the grilles like this ?

I was going to have a set of these grilles plastic 'chromed' but the cost was horrendous....

Re: Youtube - Smart Tuning & Styling

the grilles are pretty much just aesthetic.
you can see the nearside grill still has an air gap in it to air the air feed to the heater vents.
I suspect there was no noticable difference to the air circulation.

In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..."

Air vents are now black and on the crossbreed, made from old numberplates.
