found a nice spot not too far from where I live...single steep country lane that was practically deserted at at night

thanks! and no, was a 'routine' stop at 11 at night. Fair play to him, was the first nice officer i've met! (as you can see he let me take a pic!)

it was 11 at night, drunk driving/drugs all that stuff. I was surprised, I didn't even get asked to show my license or tell him my name.

currently got a Canon EOS 60D with a 30mm Sigma F1.4 Ex Lens and a rubbish wind up led torch

shooting in full manual and edited with Adobe Lightroom.

with the edits, I don't really have a set idea in mind, I'll just start messing with it and keep whatever I like

What's a "routine" stop? Thought they had to have a reason. Nice by the way.

They never have to have a reason, they'll stop you based on a number of factors. The number of times I've been pulled for no reason. Some even make stuff up, such as the old "this car isn't yours" or even one cop before which was the only time I resisted his attempts. Shame I didn't get his badge number.
