        I saw a quilted Smart parked on Bridge Street in Banchory today. Intended to go back and take a photo but it was gone.

          Going for the 'edition red' look, lol

          Mk 1 Golf is only 790 kilos so wheels shouldn't snap off, makes me remember my 1981 sirocco!

              No worries, I fell in love with this MK1 at first sight! Always had a soft spot for MK 1 and 2's and it works so well imo!

              Disagree! Looks so good! Purists would say that classic dubs should have split wheels etc, but this is so different to the rest and it actually works!

                Luvin it.
                nice to see dubs with something apart from fake bbs or Porsche or Bentley rims

                Good weight saving. He welded up the hubs and redrilled them

                  Now we just need 3x112 to 4x100 convertors/hubs and we can have some decent spec* wheels on a Smart!
