Thread Check

When you post a new thread, the system will do a quick search of existing threads with a similar title and will give you a few results if there are any.

This should hopefully cut down on the regular questions being asked over and over.

Try it - it's between the thread title the poster types, and the post body

surely if you need to post the question to get this facility to kick in, it doesn't achieve your goal, as the question will get posted anyway?

The thread check takes place immediately after you put in the title of the new thread you are posting, and while you start writing your question.

but it didn't find any threads on the subject of forceps
though I suppose it will now won't it
