Site slow when logged in

I'm having a problem with the site, when I'm logged in it takes ages to load the page, and I sometimes get a 404 error.

If I'm logged out the site is 100x faster, I can browse threads and they take less than a second to appear. I've checked this in Safari, Internet Explorer, FireFox and Opera, they all do the same thing.

I've tried on THREE different PCs, on two different internet connections!

From those tests, it sounds like you are in IT. Have you changed any firewall settings? Are cookies free to flow?

Firewall is fine, I've disabled the firewall as well, and cookies are find, work accross lots of other forums.
