Can't post in Classifieds section

I'm unable to post a reply in the classifieds section and get this page come up. Does anyone know why?

m1pui, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I don't think anyone can reply to posts in the classified section ... its probably to stop people spamming on threads

You can't reply to the threads in classifieds on purpose.

There was a spate of ads being hijacked / that's too expensive, I have one cheaper, etc. So the ability for users to reply to classifieds has been removed.

Ah right, from other forums I'm used to just asking questions regarding the item as a reply to the the OP. Sometimes handy for all when the description isn't descriptive enough lol

I know the policy has its downsides, but it has stopped alot of issues also.

I'm not complaining, was just where my confusion arose from

EDIT: I do think that asking prices should be mandatory though
