Dual Membership

I'm sure I read somewhere on here that dual membership isn't allowed but can't be sure it was on here. I think some people used to have two or more names but seem to remember it being stopped.

Can I please just check that someone's membership would have to be terminated before they'd be able to come back under another name?

Surely if someone just used another email address or gave false info, they'd be able to set up another 'persona'?

Do people get logged by an IP address or something to prevent dual memberships?

Don't understand why someone would, tbh, but there you go. Each to their own. I know of several people (on another site) who seem to regularly reinvent themselves. Strange.

its done mainly on guesswork really - dynamic IPs and IP hiders are common place.

Members Assuming Multiple Identities
Just a quick but important message. Would all members please refrain from assuming multiple identities here. That is, creating more than one account / username and posting under those different names at various times. The info that myself and the other mods can see makes it easy for us to tell who is doing this and will result in a warning and possible ban. So please, just use the one account / username and enjoy the board. Thanks, Rich

I had two memberships at one point, but no longer do. Mrs_HoagieKat is obviously my wife, so we log in from the same IP address.

I have three idents off my ip...... Fudge, Scary Monster and mooins..... I needed a stealth identity earlier in the year for reasons that were made clear to Admin and they were well aware of my identity...... remember the superb, "who is scary monster" thread.... lol
