So I take it you don't have any problems getting quotes for those of us with slightly modded cars then????

My insurance doesn't run out till Dec but it would be interesting to get a quote from somewhere other than msm, for full cover of all mods & car value!:silvertri

Edit: Just found the other post with all details...will be calling for a quote at the end of the year!

Tell me, do you do fleet insurance for 5 private vehicles? Some bikes, some cars, some standard, some modded.

If not then you're already dead to me!

Modified cars are our speciality, we insure everything from Nissan Micras with aftermarket alloy wheels to 800BHP+ Toyota Supras. My car has an engine taken from a Celica GT4, and over double the original BHP.. so engine converted cars are also no problem. We also cover modifications on a 'like for like' basis so for example if your aftermarket exhaust is damaged in an accident, it will be replaced with an identical aftermarket exhaust rather than the manufacturers item.

So in answer to your question, slightly modified cars are not a problem

Hi,

yes and no. A true fleet policy we can do but there are some restrictions on these.. fleet policies are usually for 'any driver' for example.

We do insure many people with multiple vehicles, I have three of my cars insured here, the engine converted MR2, a standard Toyota Corolla T Sport daily driver and a standard Mk1 Mr2 on a classic policy. Insurance for all three comes in at just under £1000, I am 28 with 4 years bonus.

Quite often we can provide very, very good prices by putting each vehicle on a seperate policy, we have a useful tool available called 'mirrored no claims bonus'. This means if you only have one set of no claims bonus free to use, we can 'mirror' it over and give you the same discount that you would of had if you had that NCB free to use on the second, third vehicle etc. This is how it works for me anyway. We often beat 'multicar' policy prices using mirrored bonus but we tend to offer a better level of cover as well. I cannot guarantee we will beat every price but it is worth getting in contact (better by PM/email first of all) to see what we can do.
