A new era

Sorry all, I've been thoroughly absent from the site and not giving it the attention that it needs and deserves. Life has moved on, things have changed, and I am no longer in a position to run the site.

With immediate effect, the ownership has been transferred to Racing Snake.

Thanks for a great few years, it has been a blast, hopefully I'll get to a few meets and catch up with the great friends I have made through the site.

Please join me in wishing Gav well for the future, I know he has good things planned!

Dear Rich,

Running a site like this or being a Moderator/Admin can be a thankless task, as most folks have no idea the work involved or the stress it can cause. You have done a marvelous job! It is a shame that you now only get to be thanked as you are leaving us :girl_hug:

Many of us 'oldies' really do appreciate what you have done here, taking over at short notice when it was in a precarious position and turning it around

I hope that all of the members here realise and appreciate what an iconic site this is and continue to support it and the behind-the-scenes folks who run it, including RacingSnake, who is now in the driving seat. :drive2: Good luck to all of you

I wish you Rich all the luck and very best wishes for the future, you've been a star and we will miss you terribly :star:

Thanks Rich for keeping Maniacs running.
I've no idea what is involved in running the site, but by what people have said it takes a lot of time & commitment, so I think you deserve a break.
