What I think the issue is - the length if time it takes to write your thread! Short posts don't allow the system to "save" what you are writing.

Once it's saved then it all gets confused.

when you type in the box.......after a few secs it auto-saves what you have written (doesn't it??)

because if you type in this box and then try and exit without actually posting it asks if you really want to leave.

Hi mate
yep it does auto save after a certain number of characters typed in.
I am keeping an eye on it and cant put my finger on what the issue is right now.

Are you having the issue posting on 3G/4G as well as on wifi networks?

I have had a wee play in the settings, can you try today while i sleep to see if it still happens or not.
Then ill go back to the settings if it does.

If anything it is now slower but generates an error with the post duplicate in a full editor after clicking leave this page

It's an option that if you post again within x mins then it 'updates' the first thread
