  • Brodit clip in 451

Following on from my install of a Parrot handsfree I'm now looking at integrating a TomTom in the neatest way possible.

I think I've settled on the following items

    Brodit RHD A-Pillar Proclip
    TomTom RDS TMC antenna
    TomTom Active dock for integration
    Halfords Cigarette Lighter

Which should all be easily secrete-able into the dash and pillars to provide a non intrusive solution.

I'd prefer the official one but I really don't like the Garmin Sat Navs - they send me via fields

Alternatively how easy would it me to adapt the official adapter to hold something other than a Garmin? Not too bothered about the wiring - just want it to look neat.

Just be aware, the TMC traffic aerial. The first suction thingie is very very close to the plug for the tomtom. The rest of the suction cups are adjustable, this one isn't

So, if your looking to tidy it up, just be warned...

I plan on hiding it all behind the A pillar covers anyway so would be removing the suckers
