  • How do I get to the back of my radio?

    '03 City Coupe fortwo ... all I want to do is plug a lead I got into the back of the standard radio so I can listen to my iPod ... but how do I get the damn radio out?

    if you have the standard radio then there'll be 4 holes in the front panel - there are special prongs/tools that slot in and release the side locating plates, so you can pull the radio out!

      If it's a CD player you need standard ISO radio removal tools from Halfords.

        Hmmm ... there's like two slots on either end of the facia, but running along the front, not down the sides like other car radios I've had in the past. I guess that's where the release is. I have the standard pair of tools for removing the slot type radios but it seems a bit tight, and I dont want to get them stuck!

        Oh well, thanks for the suggestions, I shall have a poke around with a screwdriver and just hope I dont break something!!
