  • Sound in a pedal car

I have a 1960's Ferarri pedal car all nice and restored and I was thinking of fitting a sound system in it for a laugh. The thing is that there is not much space so I wondered if motorbike componants might be the way to go as they are probably pretty small. Any ideas?

I have 2; the first one is a professional restoration but the second one which I bought for spares I did up so I am happy to "play" with it a little.

Am I getting something wrong here? Surely your "comment" should be in a Random Words thread.

im sure i can design somthing, you got a pic of it ill see what i can think of, speakers can go from anything between an inch and 30 inch and there are loads of differant options in terms of colour make and depth as well as quality, like i say get a pic up n ill give you a few ideas

I'll try to get a couple of piccies up tomorrow. Thanks for your constructive comment.

It will probably need a couple of enclosures under the front and the back.

Gives an idea of the lack of space

Re: Sound in a pedal car

bike battery but it would need to be charged when not in use. possibly two? in terms of mouning i think the amp can go towards the back and the speakers possibly an 8" sub and a couple of 4ish inch speakers and tweeters

one will do. Im guessing you wont be running it for long periods. Looks like an easy job.

Not enough space for two batteries TBH but charging not a problem. MP3 would be charged too so the only (ha!) problem seems to be to interface the player with the amp and speakers. Neons are an option. It could be quite interesting - or chavvy!

lol, all you need to do is get a small amp, connect the battery to it aswell as ipod connection via aux cables and speaker cables. Its easy to wire up.

                            Perfect amp:

                            Measure up for the speakers
