speakers in the boot hatch

Iv been looking on evilution and im thinking of doing the speakers in the boot hatch mod. It looks easy but it doesnt say anything about the speaker sizes he used or how much depth there is there.

I want some real speakers in not 6x9's. Anyone know anything? It will save me alot of time.

Anything sensible will fit, there is a lot of space in that hatch. Mine were 6.5" with loads of room.

Here are some pictures of my variation, I used some waterproof marine speakers so that it wouldn't matter if I opened the boot in the rain!

Sorry, they are not in any particular order, I just selected them and uploaded, then linked.

Maybe i will get round to ordering them, but who knows?

Only really works if your head unit supports 4 speakers and gives you the ability to fade from front to rear and from left to right, as you have to play around with the sound stage to cope with the different sensitivities of the speakers you used and the acoustics of the car.

Ah thanks, iv ordered some sony 6.5" speakers.
