... I actually got thretened by a cop this morning with an asbo i drove to the end of the street and turned it up loud enough for him to hear it

For those who are intrested in the specs;
Standard headunit (i like the look of the boy racers face when they see me turn it up past the volume of theirs lol)
2400 watt rms lanzar amp
Custom built sub box (took some making, 2 days solid work by me and my friend)
15" 1200 watt FLI pro sub
2 x 10" 800 watt FLI pro subs



Havn't had chance to wire up any normal speakers yet but there will be some component speakers in both the door and the dash powered by either 350 watt or 800 watt amp depending on what i get and where I can find some space to fit it. oh and a power cap will be in there as soon as I can be bothered to fit it and wire it in ( I know its not hard)

just need to tidy the wires a little, again when I can be bothered.

Reminds me of when I was younger
Lanzar amps are cool, new'ish to the car audio, I was younger I used Phoenix gold amps and Lanzars amps for the subs, little amps but kick out a lot of power. Running a full audio file reference speaker setup, with 2x15's, 2x10's and 2x8's JL's in boot of my old crx v-tec(not de-sol) charged with a beast of a phoenix gold alternator to charge up the 2 beasty batteries for my sound offs

I'll try and find and scan old pics as all on 35mm camera

Is it easy to get it all out when its service or oil check time? Im looking into yellowtop aptima batteries and the are £200! What did the cop say to you? Was it real police or just a wannabe pcso?

I need at least half my boot and i like to try and keep my car light lol. Iv got some ideas im thinking of removing the plastic side panels in the boot and making it with fiberglass rather than wood as its lighter and stonger.

lighter? yeah untill you use the filler needed to get it strong and smooth...my fiberglass box with 2 10" subs was heavier than this one with 3

Ahem, technically its a section 59, as of the Police Reform Act 2001, and if he has issued that on you, and you get caught again they can seize your car, as it could be deemed as causing people harrassment, alarm or distress........:wag:

I dont need body filler as i would carpet the outside. You can make a fiberglass box 1/4 the thickness you need the wood to be.
