A factory made one doesn't exist

Do a search for alternative options

I'm sure someone on theroadster.net was looking for numbers of interested people prior to making a mould for one.

        Not true I'm afraid

Apparently a factory made one is supplied in Japan but no ones been able to find a part number for it

Most folk just make their own out of 2 single DIN fascias cut and glued together.

Or Light plastic blanking plate would also be an option

Is there enough room on the roadster dash to fit a 2din stereo?

            Yep

If you don't have a trip Computer and you move the switches down to where the ash tray is.

            I followed Kane's guide

I know of at least one roadie with a double DIN fitted -but he did it himself.

The Japanese double DIN option could well be an urban myth, and besides which I'm willing to bet all the part number will tell you is there is 'zero stock'

Well now you know of 2

If you'd wanted you could have seen mine at SS09

Not made fascia for it yet

That's just 1 of the things my 4 week hols in July is for.

But I'm making mine out of fibre glass and filling the space between the bottom of stereo and top of gear stick housing inlcuding relocating switches again to house my 10cm centre speaker

I have found a guy in Germany who makes a roadster double DIN adaptor. I have not had a chance to buy one yet but maybe in the new year. Here is the link, If anyone get's one or has any communication with him can you post here.

                  Cheers
