help please, as you know im half way through doing dan with RED stripes now i had a go at doing the spoiler today,if i line up the top of the car to be straight as i pull it over the back to the vertical bit the angle on the edge actually drags the strip pointing towards the center of the car, then as it tucks underneath it angles evan more! any tips or pointers to get it to run straight?
please help, as i wanna do this myself cos i dont wanna pay someone to do it!?

you're doing it on a fortwo? or roady? As for me, I would left the spoiler alone, not putting the stripes onto it.

thats what im trinna do, the spoiler is colored plastic got a black car, so the spoiler matches.

I havent done the spoiler on mine Pip just the front and the back. I will show you at the meeting tomorrow night. Then you can decide if you think it looks ok or not.

I believe that a hair dryer can be used to warm the vinyl enough to allow it to stretch cleanly to get around gentle curves.

thought about that but there is SO MUCH excess on the outerside, thought about shrinking it but there is way to much!

did a trial run on doing 3 parts, top side and bottom but i knew the join was there! bugged me so much i ripped it off.

The other option then is to wrap a piece of paper (or similar) around the spoiler, draw "straight" lines on it, unwrap it, and see what shape piece of vinyl you need, and get that cut.
