  • Can you guess what it is yet?

Decided my TT takes up less space than the mirror which has been removed for a few months. It's a WIP at the moment, but hope to have the mount part finished for Friday

so are you not going to have a rear view mirror?

In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..."

Surely that is one dangerous place to plonk a Sat Nav

Not really, it's smaller than the mirror, which due to my height, had me ducking and diving to see forward properly. I removed the mirror months ago. My last car didn't have one and I'm used to using side mirrors more than interior.

I don't think I'd like to do without my RV mirror, I like to see what's hurtling towards me without stopping:redface:

As the Italian guy said in the film The Gumball Rally, as he snapped off his rear view mirror, "what's behind me is'nt important"

I found the rv mirror on my 450 massively obscured the view of the road ahead, the view behind wasn't anywhere near as good when I fitted the shortened stalk, so I got used to using the side mirrors as well - at the end of the day they show you basically everything anyway.
