Smart Four two Tweeter upgrade

- just bought a set of new,original Smart Tweeters for my Passion Cabrio.

Fitting instructions ammount to - 'take to your local Smart dealer...'!!

I know they shouldn't be too difficult to fit but can anyone tell me -

How are the tweeters fixed;are they screwed on from above (or below) or do they 'snap-on' or is adhesive used or ???

Is there a positioning reference on the dash,or do you just guess the location ?

I have fitted an aftermarket head unit (Sony Mex. with bluetooth,etc.) so I guess I will need to fit crossovers to the mid-range speakers/tweeters set up.I have seen these in Maplins -

You have to remove the dash top - not as daunting as it sounds

there are locating marking underneath iirc

but I've always just put them in the right sort of general area (Both corners. )
And yes you have to drill a couple of holes , so be sure of placement before doing

and yes , if you're using an aftermarket headunit, you will need two way cross overs - shouldn't be any more than a tenner each

I just had the rear 2 channels of my headunit running the tweeters with a low pass filter 50w per channel
