keeps asking for code

ive just put the standard tape player back in my 450 but everytime i turn the ignition off i have to put the code back in???

i imagine its a permanant live i needto one of the pins??

The switched live and permanent live need switching as for some reason Smart do it differently to most other makes. Usually its the red wire that need switching with the yellow, but best check with a meter if you are not sure.

you are correct! swap the ignition live and permanant live wires and it should be right as rain.
