  • Aftermarket Headunit Aerial Question

Can't seem to find the answer on the usual places, so the question is:

Do I need to buy a Smart to ISO adapter for the aerial when I change the Smart radio for a Sony one? I've already ordered an adapter for the main wiring, not sure if this includes the aerial?

    Thanks in advance!

Think you'll need one of these, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165626
When I changed my headunit to a Sony it came with the aerial adaptor & wiring harness in the box.
You do know to change the permanent & switched lives around? (Red & Yellow wires).
The harness I got had bullet connectors in the two wires to make it easy to swop over.:goodlk:

            Thanks for the info!
Hopefully the Sony MEX-BT3800U will come with adaptor. And hopefully the Autoleads connector will make it easy enough to swap lives.
