    Hello All!

Relatively new to this website, and thaught id share the story of my ICE Install!

    12/06/11

I currently have a Vibe slick 400 RMS AMP Powering my front speakers (MTX Thunders 85 RMS) And a Directed 12 inch woofer running on two Ohms. I have an alpine HU With I pod Connect! That Ipod connect really does come in handy! Comes in handy on drives home from work approx 3 hr drives as I work away from home!

Ive upgraded my power wires to 4 AWG already!

My next steps are to install a 1 farad cap, install my crunch amplifier which runs at 500w RMS at 2 ohms for my subwoofer, and install another pair of MTX thunder Coaxials in the rear doors and hook them up to my vibe amplifier!

I seriously carnt wait to have my full install in. I Have most of the parts apart from the coaxials! And alredy with only 200W RMS of bass have funny looks from people I.E. bit of bass from a smart car haha!

This will be the set in the car, Vibe slick amp under the passenger seat, and Crunch amplifier in the boot on the back of the sub box. Also the cap will have its own little box stand. I could take the whole boot up with my amps but I really need to gain access to my spare wheel for obvious reasons. I travel alot so I always need it on hand!

Amplifier for my speakers has now been fully installed Its under my passenger seat, used bog standard sticky velcro to attach it to the car, All my cables run underneath the floor vents!

Also The vibe amps come with side covers to hide cables and it really looks neat! I need to upload some pictures again! This jobs a work in progress! Most days I work 7 til 7 so its hard to find time to do this stuff! By the way taking the front seats are the easiest things to remove that ive ever done haha!

    Whayy!

Done alot today! My Capacitor, second amplifier and woofer are in!

My boot looks hideous at the moment. The cap will eventually have its own box stand along with the splitter. And all the wires will have black cable protector over them!

I just wanted it in to test it out really! My light still flash even with the capacitor so maybe I should get a small battery or something haha! Oh well!

    Here are some pictures!

    Hello all!

Hit up to S2smart today to remove my airbag warning light as follishy I still had the battery connected when I took my passenger seat out!

Anyway There cool guys down there! Seen the only diesel bottom half and petrol top half fortwo engine in the world! Anyway thats sorted now, Changing my front door woofers as there was a couple rattles coming from them due to too much bass hitting them a coupke of months ago! Sounds much better!

Need to upgrade my big 3 looks scary im going to have to take some engine parts out to get to some of the other 2. Anyone done this on a CDI as its really diffrent to brabus and petrol.

Also need to make that box stand soon as well, Going to use my old subwoofer box for that!
