    Re: aftermarket gauges

I have a Scangauge, which displays the OBD data, but it only has a small text display, which is not easy to read at a glance. At some stage (when I can afford it), I want to replace it with a 7" Android tablet running Torque.

Torque is a great app that displays the OBD data - via a Bluetooth dongle - as a dashboard of analogue, or digital instruments. I find analogue instruments so much better as you don't need to 'read' them once you know where the needles should be, all you need is a glance to tell if everything is right!

The tablet will replace my radio, which I rarely listen to and will become my music player via a small amp. It will also be my sat-nav....
