Footwell LED's

Hi again. While i've got my roady in bits I'm going to fit footwell led's. Going to pick up the switched live from the interior light, BUT which colour wire in the plug is the switched live and which is the earth?? Also how many led's could i wire into this circuit as I'd also like to fit them under the car as well so they come on when I unlock the car?

I did a "how to" for the 451 - that used a switched earth, not switched live. Look it up, it may well use the same colour wires and the same set up.

Make sure you add a dimmer into the circuit so you can get them the correct brightness

Earth wires are always brown on a smart or MB.

Fitted my footwell led's today. Just wired them into the interior light so they come on ang go off with it. Well pleased. Also nearly finished my install, just got the tweeters to wire up. Fitted them into the A post plasic covers. they look pretty good. Will post some photos when i'm done.
