    Re: Door Speaker's

Installed the pods and speakers today.Took the front off to route the speaker cables,There's a rubber bug behind the header tank so went thought there

On the inside behind the Sam unit

Used this tool to pull the cable thought the rubber has there are holes in it just need to push thought them has they are capped

Got that done routed them along with the wire entering the door the little plastic molding only clips into the door and it opens just get a small screw driver to open the small catches

When threading the wire into the door make sure you have it the back side of the window frame. I got one wrong all finished opened the window and cut thought the speaker wire DOH
The door pods needed a bit of cutting on the inside to make a good fit to the door panel

my car had already had the sound upgrade before i bought it base bins tweeters and CD player. So i used an ISO extender and spliced into that for the new speakers saving the original loom if they are removed. Ok the speakers are not going to win a sound off,But it has made a more rounded sound not just coming from the front. If only the Smart head unit rear speaker connections it could be balanced more front to rear. I don't want to swap the Head unit because i think it just looks right after market jobs look wrong.
Next job Upgrade the horn its ****.
