Got bored whilst sitting in traffic yesterday... pressed & held each of the buttons on the Grundig in the Roadster to see what extra/secret menus there were that I didn't already know about....
Well if you press & hold the AM/FM button long enough (about 10 secs) it briefly displays "ROAD -09" on the display. Then if you're in FM mode you get extra characters appearing next to the frequency display.
Press & hold AM/FM again, "ROAD -09" displays again, and the radio reverts back to normal operation.
Got home tried this in the missus' 450 - it does exactly the same....
So anyone any idea what this mode is/does? Is there any control or config or is it some kind of diagnostic mode for radio reception???
