Does anyone fancy doing a panel swap? Bertie is currently river silver but would like a little jack black dress to wear! Would a temporary swap be feasible??
He's an 04 plate Passion Fortwo......

Annie - NO!

Keep the River Silver! Buy a set of panels if you want a change but don't sell the silver. Silver has great resale value.

Are you going to colour code the silver stripe as well?
If you change the colour of your don't you have to make a change to your V5?

Yup, send it back in and mark on it that the colour has changed... and they send you back a nice shiny new one. Had to do that for my last car. DVLA had it registered as brown when it was and quite obviously always had been metallic black.

I thought smarts were registered as the Tridion colour (so either silver or black, or maybe grey ) and the panel colour didn't matter???

Mine's registered as 'white / black' trid = black & panels = white...

Course if you change the colour of your car through panels or a full respray you are obliged to tell DVLA of the new colour so once you change the information the car was first registered with, it can be anything that the current owner choses to describe the colour as.

I want to keep the trid silver - just fancy a change from silver panels for a while - and I like black. I think black n silver would look pretty nice....

I have a black trid and want black panels. Then I'll be fitting some deep Borbet A alloys or refurbishing the titans...haven't decided.
