Just completed 10000 miles and no problems (touch wood!!!) A friend of mine who bought a Smart the same time as me has had loads though.
As my pea has been so good, I'm buying him the Brabus performance kit for his 1st birthday.

i think its just pot luck as to wether your car is a good one or not?.it just depends on if the garage will do anything about it or not?, if not then its not a lot of fun as it can take ages to sort out!

GUESS WHAT? its broke again! the slipping clutch problem is back, looks like ANOTHER trip to smart bhm.
thinking about sending it in to clarkson with the list of problems, to see if he can BLOW IT UP! if you see a black cab with loads of extras get destroyed next series, its mine.

its a smart car! you can not give them welly, never do more than 85 when on motorways or long runs, but do drive it nippy around town.
the problems are all to do with build quality, it lacks it, i would not mind, but i have spent thousonds on her making her look nicer.

had a ford like that nothing wrong with the engine just everything else from leaking windows to unexplained rust, friday pm car, got rid of it after 2 years, never had probs of any sort with the next one
