Mine was showroom stock so got it day the cash transferred...then it broke down after an hour and I'm bloomin well waiting for it to get fixed :-(

Seems parts aren't the quickest...so nowt by next week and I'm off to buy a RX-8.

Shame, cos it was a bloody good hour of driving ;-)

Although I got mine after 2 1/2 weeks I am still waiting for mats 2 months after the initial order. I have e-mailed smart via the website and had nothing but an automated reply.
How hard can it be to find a set of mats??

The story I've gathered is that they haven't yet ordered the parts as they don't have the software on their PC to allow them to do so...

I mean, jeez can't they phone up and get the bloody things needed? Not as if there are hundreds of types of Roadster around!

Prob same problem with your mats...I spoke to Smart CS on the phone and they are useless, folk don't listen to what you are saying and have no info whatsoever apart from the location of your nearest dealer...

Though the warranty company were quite fast I'm not holding out a lot of hope that the car will be with me b4 Xmas...

Usual story of punting out the product and hoping nowt will go wrong...then if it does you've already paid, will have a hell of a time getting a refund...so are stuck with what you've got.

            Which is a bit ****!

I waited a couple of days. I got mine from smart in Hull and dealt with them over the phone. They gave me a choice of several brand new ones they had in stock and I chose on the Monday and they drove it up to Northampton for me on the Friday.
                Pretty good I though <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

ditto AndyM. I waited a couple of weeks but smart of Hull were waiting for me. They sorted everything out re tax for a year + a week and the car was OK when I collected it. Gave me a free merc umbrella as well - not sure if this was a comment about the soft top reliability though.

                  Cheers, Geoff
