Ok Lennie lets have a go,Invite Dan round(zorrooow whatsit or what he is this week)Take this rhd apart,then do yours, drilling huge holes in the dash etc,shouldnt take too long,If you can swap a set of panels in a farmers field in 1 1/2 hours it'll be a walk in the breeze,pour me plenty of tea and I'll assist.If we get a digital camera we can take shots for the Smartimes Mag etc.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>RHD CDI now we are talking, is it just me or do you need three hands to drop the passengers seat.

Looked at the new Mini (Cooper) here yesterday; not a defection or anything, just curious you understand.
It's cute; well OK, maybe not quite as cute as the Smart, & dearer probably, though it does have those 2 extra seats which might be useful for legless dwarfs.
But the Mini service package (which I won't detail here, I hate making Smart people cry, but suggest you look it up when you're feeling brave) offered by BMW is brilliant, & DC should take note.
Also the electric-opening glass roof is superb .
They are very popular in Miami, so Americans can love a small car.
Had I found a very low mileage 3 year old Mini at the time I bought the Smart it would have been a close run thing .....Comment

My gripes are the heater, I drive from Bottesford to Crowle regularly and the heater does not get warm enough to do any good until after Keady Bridge.
The water jets for the wipers, the middle one is as much use as an ashtray on a moterbike.
And the comments about the passenger seat are all true, what an awful design.
Other than that I must say Ladybug is the bestist thing that has happend to me in many a long year, it even beats my biking days.
I know I may be the only one, but I think the horn is great, it's as funky as the car<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>Comment

Wider wheels are a must and please merc, sort out that gearbox! the A class box is nice. ive sold tons of them and never had any faults, even the new Corsa box is nice to use! and i hate Vauxhalls they are ~*&#.Comment

Well here's my two penneth worth:
1. Reclining Passenger Seat
2. Flick Wipe for the front wipers that doesn't wash the screen at the same time
3. Fan type front washer instead of the three jets
4. Interior plastics which don't scratch so easily
5. Creep for the gearbox when in reverse
6. Stalks which are smoother to move from each setting (like a Volvo or something rather than feeling like they are froma tonka toy)
7. Larger Door mirrors
8. Paddle Shift standard on every model
9. Funkier colors
10. Service Package
11. Change the big polystyrene bit over the battery so you can stretch your legs out more
12. Delipped as standard
13. Full length sun blind for the glass roof
They are all really minor gripes though. My car is absolutely great and I wouldn't be without it
