I had a nice little vespa 125 that I enjoyed wizzing around on untill I was hit by a car and the bike written off. <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> Must say though that driving my smart makes me smile just as much as my vespa used too! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

      And i do not get helmet hair from driving my smart! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ecky here and yes i still have a bike as well as my smart. Got a suzuki 750, had many bikes over the years, started life as a scooter boy (had vespa 225 race tuned "my ever changing moods"). Well stuck on the smart at the moment though so the bike aint getting used much

Good for you Ecky many end up selling the bike to pay for their smartie or add ons (me included but on the look out for baby blade at moment) As you may guess I'm vertically challenged.

Richard sorry for not answering what Billing was - best car meet you will ever attend on a par with the BMF (almost, but could be by 2004!) Best thing & difference being not only do we chat about our smarties as opposed to bikes but we make real & true friendships & getting to know each others names & contact numbers etc even if at different ends of country - Similiar to bikers culture only better. Does that give you an idea of what Billing is? Apart from the fact its a little village in Northampton with an A1 aquadrome!!!

I know what you mean Ecky, only had my smart 4 months and the Harley has only been out twice.

Hi, I sold my Fzx 750 Fazer (1989) with Fzr750 engine to fund the smart. Sad but pleased.
Also moved from bikes to Jet Ski's for a while.... great fun. Expensive toys...

Ah, memories! Started out on a Suzuki GS125 in 1982, passed my bike test in '83, and bought a GS550 Katana (with clip-ons & rearsets - nearly crippled myself!) straight away. Kept that till I got married in '85, then the bike had to go (try carrying a weeks shopping on a Kat). My bro had a 250LC & then a RG250 Gamma (Mad bike; didn't need a front wheel - it never touched the ground!) and then got a GSX-R400 in '92, which we both used (we both had cars as well) until he flogged it in '95. Haven't ridden a bike for years now, although I did work for a motorbike dealer for a few months back in '95. Wouldn't mind a bike again, although the Pocket Rocket is just as much fun, and more practical (no lid, leathers etc.)

                              Nostalgia!

First Bike - BSA Bantam D7 175cc ding da ding ding!
Second - Bennelli 250 2-stroke light handled like a dream, fast for its day
Third and final Triumph TSS 750 (spent many a happy! evening in the garage rebuilding it <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>)
+ wrote a car off and bust my wrist with my wifes bike.
Then like others in 85 kids came along and bike went
