That is a fantastic idea guys.
Cheap remaps if you wanna up the power a bit, and then more options if you need them, and its good for s-a-d as the customer can go back each year for upgrading to the next level :

Well guys and gals, i feel privaliged to tell you that i have just picked my BRC back from Smart Arse Design, and what can i say...... mg: WOW.....

They have been working on a re-map program for the BRC in conjunction with the renouned Red Dot Racing http://www.reddotracing.co.uk, and i think they cracked it!!!!

The car has felt awesome all day....Quicker changes, Better low and mid range, i also had a chance for some motorway driving, and the greatly increased Torque has improved aceleration in higher gears, aswell as make you feel your on a rocket through the already ample mid range.... It feels even more like an Elise now, it has that edge that you need to drive a car hard, confidently, which i think it lacked a touch off before.... I haven't got the BHP or 0-60 yet but im going up to the Dyno Day on Sunday 11th Dec at Red dot racing, and i'll keep you posted about what she can do!!!

They really looked after me there and what they dont know about Smart cars aint worth knowing!!

It's still in its running in stage for the program, as some parameters adjust over a little time, so i'll keep you all posted.
