Scottish Meet - 14th of October - Anstruther Fish & Chip Run

Hi guys,


I was speaking to Lisa (Starry) & James last week about arranging another Scottish smart meet, as we haven't had one in ages!


So, plan is to go up to the Anstruther Fish Bar on the harbour.


Details are:


Meet at the Tesco's South Queensferry at 10.30, aiming to leave for 11.00.
Drive to Anstruther along the coastal road (around an hour away) for fish & chips
From there, we can decide where to go for a drive.


So, who's in?

Ahh cool, yeah, very lovely there! Was that the night when you were up at the festival time?

Fish n chips in Anster is a brilliant idea. While you lot will be queuing in the 'main' chippy, I'll be a few doors up the street getting mine from there.

I'm up for it.

Will have to journey up to Edinburgh from Dundee for the meeting point, but it'll be worth it.

We could just meet there, but I love the idea of being part of a Smart Convoy. I've taken part in Mass Rideouts with Bike Forums (usually for charity, Easter & Christmas, etc), so to do it in a car sounds great fun.

This is the one everyone goes to, as it has won awards, etc. But it's always queued out and a long wait.

There's two more further up that street:

1. The Waterfront

2. The Wee Chippy

It has been my preference in the past to go to The Wee Chippy, but I must profess that it's been a personal choice and I'm not responsible if you go there and get rubbish fish n chips.
