Mine arrived yesterday, were looking forward to it.

We went last year ( our first time , 1 week after purchasing our Roadster ) with a tube from the Nottingham Smart dealership but were dissapointed at the time the tube arrived at the do, most were leaving already when we got there and before we had chance to get around everything, things were closing, we'd love to travel down with other smarties but need to arrive at the start of the day, we'd like to visit the brooklands museum also at this visit.

Anybody else planning to go down early sat morn on the M1 corridor that would like to meet up enroute, we join the M1 at junction 29.

We aim to be there (brooklands) approx 9ish to see smarties arriving and make a good day of it.

That's the biggest problem with Dealerships, they fluff up their tubes down to the event (and they call them convoys). I went with smart of Coventry once, the festival had started by the time people were finishing their bacon butties, and then we had to stop at Oxford services for 40 mins waiting for smart of Derby to catch us up!

You get an external & internal sticker for your car plus a wristband. The envelope also gives a run down of the activities that are there plus directions to the event.

Still, still not received mine. I emailed them and they said.

"smart festival 2012 is a free event open to all the public. The contents of the registration pack are not required for entry and you will be able to attend without them."

It would have been nice to have the pack but at least I can still get through the gates

How about we decide on a meeting time/point within Smartfest and put some faces to names - it would be a great way to involve the newer members of the forum.
Does anyone know of a suitable area where people could drop by and sit & chat for 10 mins?

I would love to make this my first Smart Meet. Too late to register I guess so I'll speak to 'er indoors and see if we are free this Saturday. If not I will try to make it to Beaulieu on 11th November.

if you want to meet up to go to fest lookout for us as we go buy we came comming from gillingham and leave about 8 to 8.30. there is also meet at fleets

Yes we are running a tube stopping at Fleet services, though we are starting further south from Winchester. Why not arrange your own tube along the A303 and meet us at Fleet services?
