~ Plus a visit to Hemswell Antique Centre after lunch at The Dovecote
** AS THE NORMAL 6th OCTOBER MEET FALLS OVER THE SMART FESTIVAL WEEKEND AT BROOKLANDS, THE 6th OCTOBER MEET WILL BE MOVED TO SUNDAY 14th OCTOBER**
This month I thought it would be quite interesting to visit the Hemswell Antique Centre after we have had lunch and a chat in the car park. So if you fancy coming along it is half an hours drive north on the A15 and is a really lovely place with a very good coffee shop. It is open until 5pm.

The Meet Dates
1st Sunday in the month - every month
11.30am - 4pm-ish
Lunch at 12.30pm
This is a very friendly, informal smart car gathering where you can come along and meet up with like minded owners and chat about your cars; ask for advice and tips; discuss modifying or just have a laugh and chat about stuff and nonsense, whether you are new to the smart scene or a veteran.
It will be a great place to meet up with old friends and make lots of new ones, all with a similar interest - smarts.
Our meet is held at The Dovecote. It is a historical Coaching Inn over 300 years old, which has been renovated and restored. It is situated between Newark and Lincoln, just off the A46.
It serves wonderful food, with a Carvery set-up for Sunday lunch at £8.95 per head.
It is a real ale pub serving Poachers ales.
The Dovecote is a member of ‘The Tastes of Lincolnshire’ and sources produce from local suppliers and farmers and is also a member of CAMRA.
We look forward to seeing you at our next meet on Sunday 14th October at about 11.30-ish

This venue is very popular, so if you would like to eat here it is ESSENTIAL to book a table at least a few days beforehand.
If you would like to eat please post here so that we can book an appropriately sized table on everyone's behalf. There is no booking fee to worry about.
