Hello colleagues
Most of us know that between Christmas and the New Year life can get a little boring.
So for our last trip of 2012 we are off out on a Smartie run. Sir Geoff is working out a route from Birch Services(M60) to the National coal-mining museum in Wakefield. Now most of you will know if you have been on a run where Geoff is involved then we could end up taking a route that we would of never of consider taking!
The admission to the museum is free. Then afterwards off for some lunch. Geoff is doing a dummy rum on Sunday and casing the area for a ‘two for one’ type pub. http://www.ncm.org.uk/
So details are:
Sunday 30th December leaving at 10.00am from Birch services M60 Northbound.
So its either staying in and watching Julie Andrews climb that bloody hill again or Chuck Heston going round on a chariot or a trip out to Yorkshire with good company and not forgetting our Smarties.
We will be coming off at Junction 22 M62, which is the one after Milnrow so anyone living that neck of the woods could pick up the tube say around 10.15am. The rest as Cilla would say is ‘ Surprise surprise chuck’
Cheers
Steve
