The LSC - The Lincolnshire smart Club Meet – SATURDAY 5TH JAN NOT SUNDAY 6th
SMART SEASIDE SAUNTER AT SKEGNESS
**There is a change of date for this months meet only because we’re going on a trip to the seaside!!

We are having a smart Seaside Saunter at Skegness, along with fish and chips and ice cream.
Everyone welcome, not just The LSC members, so if you fancy a bracing walk along the promenade at Skeg to brush away the festive fug, come and join us, the more the merrier.
We’ll be meeting up at the LSC’s normal meeting venue – The Dovecote – at 10.30am and departing at 11.00am. We will be taking a nice scenic route to Skeg at a leisurely pace, so if you’ve got your boy racer’s head on this event isn’t for you.
Here is a link to Google maps for the route, which will take us past RAF Conningsby, the beautiful Tattershall Castle, Revesby Abbey Estate (look out for the deer) and Lincolnshire Heritage Aviation centre at East Kirkby before the final leg on the A158 to Skegness.
We’ll park up in the Tower Festival car park – PE25 3HH – which will cost £1 - all day rate.
Fish and Chip lunch is at 1pm at The Clock Restaurant
If you would like lunch PLEASE let me know ASAP and preferably by 2nd Jan so that I can book a table for us all.

N.B. This event is governed by the weather and may have to be cancelled at short notice should we experience adverse conditions such as snow.

The Normal Meet Dates
1st Sunday in the month - every month
11.30am - 4pm-ish
Lunch at 12.30pm
This is a very friendly, informal smart car gathering where you can come along and meet up with like minded owners and chat about your cars; ask for advice and tips; discuss modifying or just have a laugh and chat about stuff and nonsense, whether you are new to the smart scene or a veteran.
It will be a great place to meet up with old friends and make lots of new ones, all with a similar interest - smarts.
Our meet is held at The Dovecote. It is a historical Coaching Inn over 300 years old, which has been renovated and restored. It is situated between Newark and Lincoln, just off the A46.
It serves wonderful food, with a Carvery set-up for Sunday lunch at £8.95 per head.
It is a real ale pub serving Poachers ales.
The Dovecote is a member of ‘The Tastes of Lincolnshire’ and sources produce from local suppliers and farmers and is also a member of CAMRA.
