  • Coleford Carnival of Transport - Monday April 1st [Easter Monday]

Last year was the first time the Welsh smarties attended the Coleford Festival of Transport "en masse" (and it chucked down all day long!)

This year the organisers of the Coleford Carnival of Transport have chosen us Smarties as their FEATURE Display by the Clock Tower !!!

This was part of the email I was sent:
We would like to put your club in the town centre the lower part of the clock tower (like we did with the Jaguars a while back) we thought as we always seem to put older classic cars there it would make a nice change to have a modern but different car as our feature display - this would mean that we need a good turn out of cars and will need how many are coming so we can sort out the display this would also mean anyone who just turns up on the day "will not be with you" plus we don't usually do a turn up and pay on the day anyway i can give you more time to chase up your club members to see who would like to come and display in the centre if you have any club banners or sail flags they can be displayed if you can get back to me as soon as poss if you would like to be the centre display.

If you are DEFINITELY able to attend and be part of the centre display please contact member http://www.thesmartclub.com/board/me...?17506-Sue2gud

If you'd like to pop along during the day, please see http://www.colefordcarnivaloftransport.org/ for visitor info.

I am not a member of that forum, so cannot contact her via it, but would like to go (good to have an event close by for a change, lol). We could bring the Edition Red for the display and possibly one other fortwo.

    Cheers!

The Mrs. and I had a great day, many thanks to Sue and all the other organisers that made it possible.

      Cheers!
