ACE CAFE is a biker cafe. and sometimes get 20 to 30 cars. BEAULIEU is a remembrance day meet and cost £10 but you do get to use all the house and grounds to look round. there is no driving at ether. hope this helps. have a nice trip to the uk.

Neither are worth driving all the way from Belgium for.

Here is a link to Beaulieu event
http://m.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/simply-smart it is a great day out if you have not been there. Big motor museum, monorail, ancient abbey and a nice house to look round. Ace cafe has sone history but is basically a meet jn a car park. They are on the same weekend and last year I did ace and stayed the night in a hotel in Hampshire and then met up with a lot of smarts in the morning for the Beaulieu event. Belgium not that far away. Antwerp to Calais is only 2 hours. Dover to ace cafe about 3 hours. You could make a long weekend of it.

Firstly, I'd say a big thank you for bringing this to my attention.... I have now bought two tickets to Beaulieu

Secondly, having driven to and from Germany quite a few times I would say that driving from Belgium isn't that bad, but Hadley Marky is right about the weekend... although its not a long drive, its much nicer without traffic and if you drive off-peak and avoid all the traffic and break it up with a nice hotel stay or two, then it would make the journey quite a bit of fun.
