SMART TIMES - Independant travel

Hi All,

Although last minute, I'm thinking of going to SMART TIMES - Has anyone planned to do the camping side of things? - Would be grateful of any insights you may have and also how long you may plan for the drive there and back (keeping hours down and stopping off etc)

Assuming I can get time off work - It would be a great way to celebrate 10yrs.

As replied to elsewhere it depends where you are. From Guildford you can cross into France on day 1 and make Lucerne/Buochs on Day 2. So 2 days there and 2 days back. We're leaving from Hampshire on the Monday and returning on the following Monday, giving us some days before the event to have a look around.

I'm attending this year and camping on the airfield to keep cost down. I have plans to leave Thursday after work and will get there for Friday morning if I drive straight through. Looking forward to celebrating the 10th birthday of the Roadster.
