More driving meets wanted!

After taking part in the Surrey Seaside Scramble over the past years, I think there should me more days like it. There doesn't seem to be many meets that involve driving as such. I know it has been thrown around about a London night drive but it depends on who would be interested.
I haven't been to the Beaulieu meet for a couple of years now, it isn't a bad day out, the drving side is fantastic. I travel to Poole often and I have always done the A31/Portsmouth tunnel route and it is great if you like to drive your car on roads other than boring motorways.

The simple answer is: want 'em? Run 'em. For some years now the NW have had far more than our fair share of the driving meets, six to eight a year, simply because Geoff and I ran them. This year we haven't had the time and energy (or the weather, by and large), so there have been many fewer.

It's not hard. Go for it.

I'm thinking of doing more in the way of driving meets but my meets are a bit of a trek for you to get to. Looking at doing stuff in/around Mid Wales

Hopefully, we will be organising at least one meet next year which will involve a drive out of some description even if on the back of another car club! Planning a weekend of events and will suggest accommodation etc.

We are fairly! experienced at doing this as Hog Roasters from previous years will confirm

Norfolk is a great place to come to and enjoy - so watch this space as I will be posting when I know the events calendar of other car clubs.

I'm a little bit in collusion with RCR10 here, as I agree too that there is a lack of drive (forgive the pun) in meets. However, as I work at the cable car by the O2, I'm inspired by some of the roads and scenery there. So in my spare time I'm studying into a London night drive, say starting with dinner at the O2, and then later in the night, drive by the landmarks from East to West

i came up with the idear last year to do more driving. say have a meet on a friday night anywhere then on the saturday drive towards where an other meet was and meet up. but it came to nothing. also you try to put meet together and then someone takes it over. i give up.

Hi RCR for a long time there has been talk of a picnic in the park (Hydepark) if you would like to organize that then I will do the same for you down hear in Hampshire, and have a nice run in the new forest where we will stop in a very nice place and have a BBq, now how does that grab you. Den

Night time drive across london sounds interesting, never driven in london
Quiet new to smarts so I missed some of the classics like London to Brighten, M25run etc I suppose petrol costs makes a difference now
