    Re: More driving meets wanted!

trouble is you come to the breed with a lot of go. and then they just say oh weve been there and done that years ago. i came and bought a 59 plate new and then you find there is a row going on. some peps what one thing and others want somthing else. stale mate. everyone goes to the fest and some go to the Ace cafe. and some meet each month at a pub or cafe. but as for drive meets you have to go a long way to get one. they are here but far and few apart.then if like me you do not want to be driving all day and all night just to come home it becomes very expencive to stop over. some nice peps say you can stay over which is great if can and dont have to get to work the next day. but most say lots and dont do anything. so unless you try to do a meet yourself you will be driving a long way to get one. had my rant and told a few truths thank you

Yup. Unless you do it yourself, you'll have to travel to where somebody else is doing it. And this is a surprise why?

It's very simple. Put on driving meets you'd fancy going to, announce them, and people will come. And if they don't, well, you can have a nice drive on your own! But they will. Don't get caught up in cat-herding, just get it done.

        Rick

Have you heard any more from Geoff? I was looking at run into Yorkshire again via Oldham and Saddleworth over the tops via Meltham.

        Cheers

I've not heard from Geoff since he disappeared - we think to China. I don't THINK any of us have.
