  • Blue and silver For2 - crashing this morning!

I went to collect a parcel from the local sorting office this morning, as I came through some traffic lights at the entrance to the industrial estate there was a For2 2 cars ahead of me. Lights changed as we approached so we're only doing about 5-10mph. The For2 went through the lights and then suddenly spun 360 degrees and slammed into the side of a car waiting for the lights to change on the other side!

The car in front of me went through snaking all over the place, I went through with the traction lights flashing like crazy!

The whole road was a sheet of black ice

I heard the panels crunch on the For2 and nobody was hurt but not a good start to the day for that Smart owner

Yes but remember, Panels crunching just means they need replacing......bodywork crunching is another ball game entirely!

Poor little smartie, I've spun on black ice and T+ didn't even get a chance to kick in!

I didn't recognise the car, it was definitely black ice Trouble, there was water gushing down the hill before the lights so I guess that was the point where the water was thin enough to freese into ice.

            Fair enough

I'd say diesel is worse than ice tbh:redface:, cos it happens when you least expect it.:silvertri:silvertri
Apart from when you're just entering an industrial estate or a roundabout where you would expect it, that is
