Re: Knight and Day
We got 2 for 1 tickets to see it at Watford on Friday. I cannot believe the price of going to the flicks these days!
TBH, I didn't mind the film. It was exceptionally silly but it was good to see the Roadies on the big screen (even if they did get trashed!) We realised quite how sad we were when we took a mental note that they has spinline wheels, no pods, cloth interiors...
We even got a few looks leaving the car park in Helen's Roadie.

Remember, before they made their appearance on the silver screen, smart tried to pretend that the Roadster never existed. We heard at Hambach in 2009 that the Roadster was not allowed to appear in any smart model line up. They ripped the roadster outline off the factory and also Daimler pretended that they never existed by removing all reference from their website! :censor:
And also, the ones in the film didn't have smart engines.
No doubt there was a whole load of politics surrounding this issue. :frown:
I will keep my Roadster badged. It is a smart and proud to be one.
