Finally went to see it last night. What a load of *rap, don't bother.
Saying that, I did shout out when I was the first Roady.

We got 2 for 1 tickets to see it at Watford on Friday. I cannot believe the price of going to the flicks these days!

TBH, I didn't mind the film. :smile: It was exceptionally silly but it was good to see the Roadies on the big screen (even if they did get trashed!) We realised quite how sad we were when we took a mental note that they has spinline wheels, no pods, cloth interiors...

We even got a few looks leaving the car park in Helen's Roadie.

Probably because they look so much better without those silly stick-on badges. The badges on the merc are part of the design, the one on the roadster looks like an afterthought.

Probably because smart wouldn't allow them to be badged!

Remember, before they made their appearance on the silver screen, smart tried to pretend that the Roadster never existed. We heard at Hambach in 2009 that the Roadster was not allowed to appear in any smart model line up. They ripped the roadster outline off the factory and also Daimler pretended that they never existed by removing all reference from their website! :censor:

And also, the ones in the film didn't have smart engines.

No doubt there was a whole load of politics surrounding this issue. :frown:

I will keep my Roadster badged. It is a smart and proud to be one.

Mine's got badges on the wheel hubs and door sills... just not the ugly ones on bonnet and boot .

Badges are cool, Well the smart badge is extreamly cool! We should wear them with pride

The Top Gear website only mentions the 451 also, which is kinda sad... like the others never existed at all...

Just saw this film tonight on DVD!
Didnt realise it had the smart's in it until they popped up and i made a little "squee" noise

I want a roadster now, anyone wanna swap theirs for my CDi???
