Remaps for the forfour.

What with the 451 ecu being cracked, I've done some investigating, and forfour remaps are available on the continent, taking the 95ps petrol up to 120ps (490euros). Anyone going to bring them over here?

I'm not planning to go euroland any time soon. If people have the equipment to do the 451 remaps, they can do forfour ones.

they might not want to waste the money buying the software for the three forfours that they seem to have sold in the UK!

Go to Europe, learn to speak german!

if he bought one of those resistors off ebay, he'd get 15bhp improvement!!! And if he bought two, he'd get 30bhp improvement!

Its not often i will enter this style on convo. Ian does have a valid point. The Forfour can be tuned but it has to be a mixture of Hardware & software mods to get the best out of the 1100cc, 1300cc & 1500cc (not brabus) petrol models. A simple remap is not going to be the answer. Development has been done in depth, but i feel peoples pockets will not be deep enough to enjoy this type of performance and they will look for budget alternatives.

i am really considering getting a 1.5 deisel forfour as going to run it off bio deisel. Cheap enough to run

Just wondering tho can you not remap a deisel forfour and get a good improvement??

maybe you should try the same as what someone told me to do lol, dont mod the car and try and loose some weight to make it go quicker , also save some money as well along the way !!!!!!

Bio Diesel - no no no !! it isnt refined as many times as standard diesel is and can cause no end of bother for you , i.e clog your fuel filter , lines etc
I know as i tried it in my old fiesta 1.8D yes its cheap but cost me more as I had to buy a new fuel system as the bio knackered it
Plus it stinks like chip fat or a grotty kebab shop out your exhaust .
please please be careful when considering bio diesel
