Just to counter all the 'real smart' snobs on these forums - Twice in the last 6 months we have been contacted by the main agents in Brighton asking if we would sell our ForFour Passion 1.5 petrol (well spec'd) to them because they have so many buyers asking for them. People love the design and if its well spec'd with a good colour scheme they can't get enough. Ours is 56k now, on full MB history. No reason to sell, but its good to hear.

Seriously, they're selling way above book price just now. I seem to be spotting more of them on my daily drive as well. They seem to appeal to the hippies of Stroud!sigpic

People are slow to change and accept a new name/design. The smart Brand and design concept was highly innovative and still very new at the time (55). A great little car that has stood the test of time very well indeed and still looks very good with a lot of character. Its hard to match on the used market. The only other car I can think of that did this was the Audi A2.Comment

no one is getting my BRAB.....
when i bought it 2 years ago, i had a choice of about 8 smart approved used across the country!! i picked my spec and got the car from York smart who delivered it to Bristol for me!!
Now, there are 0 BRABs available and only 6 standard forfours in the approved used list!!
they are holding their price very well!!

York rang me up today asking if i was still happy with my car & if i was thinking of selling it in the future
Yes I was I told them ... to my son in 2 years when he is 17 as he keeps pestering me to let him have it !!
They dont normally sell cars 5 yr old but they have had alot of enquires lately off people asking if they can get hold of them the guy said .
